Job Description

TPF Recruitment is delighted to partner with a well-established, friendly, and independent firm of Chartered Accountants near Reigate in the search for a Senior Personal Tax Manager. The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated tax professional to lead and develop the firm’s personal tax function. This is a key leadership role where you will oversee personal tax compliance and advisory services, manage client relationships, and contribute to the firm’s strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the firm’s personal tax department, ensuring efficient compliance and high-quality advisory services.
  • Provide expert personal tax advice to clients, identifying tax planning opportunities and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships while actively contributing to business development.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the personal tax team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
  • Play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the firm’s personal tax services, with opportunities for career progression. 


Requirements

About You

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled personal tax specialist with:

  • A CTA qualification (preferred) or ACA/ACCA with a minimum of three years’ experience in personal tax advisory roles.

  • Strong expertise in personal tax, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality client service.

  • Previous experience in a senior personal tax management role.

  • A hands-on approach with excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities.

  • Up-to-date knowledge of personal tax regulations and compliance requirements.

  • A commitment to professional development and contributing to the firm’s success.
